Establishments - Teachers - Editors

The noncommercial step of this project will make our product completely free for its users. The goal is to support the creation of a broad range of educational titles whose technical foundations are coherent. This program will thus allow:

To accelerate the production of educational softwares.
Biccle must make it possible "to industrialize" the technical part of the design of educational titles.
To facilitate the deployment of these educational applications.
To make these applications educational independent of the operating system.
To ensure a certain integration between the various titles which will be to publish on the basis of this library.
To facilitate the analysis of work to realize by the pupils for the teachers.


Beyond this whole of components, it is envisaged to develop a configurator of application likely to help with the generation of the skeleton of an educational title. The originators of a title will be able to then concentrate on its contents, its scenario, its déroulement…

Contributions for the establishments:

It will be adapted on all the platforms like all the operating systems currently existing in national education.
It will not require any additional installation on behalf of the school establishments.

Contributions for the teachers:

Will allow to gather a great number of data useful for the teachers. For example, the software will avoid with the teachers returning the data pupils (name, first name, classe…) in each new software used.
Moreover, at the request of the professors, BICCLE will provide them an in-depth analysis of the work of the pupils on data-processing tool (example: error count made on a exercise), and by the same one to see the encountered difficulties.
It will be a considerable saving of time compared to the case or the professor would have to compare all the data of all the software.
Lastly, thanks to this one, the teacher will be able to adapt his program according to the results obtained.
The principal goal of BICCLE is to accompany work on data-processing tool by the pupils and the teachers.

Contributions for the editors:

The Biccle platform offers many "standardized" services which are used in the educational softwares (list of the groups, of the pupils, storage of data, utilization of the results...)
Biccle is only one under technical layer. The editors remain free to create the titles according to their wishes, their objectives. The courses of formation, the user interfaces are independent of Biccle.
The editors can concentrate on the added value of their trade, the design of educational titles. They are simply helped by the recourse to sets of technical modules which ensure of the basic functions.
The use of the Biccle platform makes it possible to the editors to secure a presence on various software environments (Macintosh, PC under Windows, Linux...). Only the editor chooses to reduce these possibilities.
